I know I've been MIA to most of you...(Hi Terri
). But here is a little update as to what I've been doing and the status of my health.
I got a Holiday job at Lane Bryant. Yes, I'm tired. It maybe worth the discount, but honestly I don't care to stay in the store long enough to shop and when I do the math and figure how long I'd have to work to buy something, I decide against it. And the point of getting the job was to make money to get out of debt so buying clothes defeats that purpose. I was told that since I am still on the schedule for this week, that means they are keeping me.
I will be having the PFO (For Amy B.- Patent Foreman Ovale (hole in heart)) closed sometime soon, the doctors are waiting for the small implant device that will close the hole to come in. It's been a year since they first discovered I had had a TIA (Amy B. - Trans Ischemic Attack (mini-stroke)).
I'm seeing a new surgeon. He has suggested a revision involving banding the pouch since my pouch is larger than it should be and the stoma is too large. He will most likely fix Henrietta at the same time, I also want to see if they can do a panni with it. I know with the revision I would lose more weight, but since I have already lost close to 200 lbs and most of that weight was carried below my waist I have a huge apron and could really use some relief.
As for my love life...guy #2 has just waited too long. I think he is just friendly to everyone and not neccesarily interested. This girl at LB gave me her cousins number and we have been talking for the past couple days I hope we can go out this weekend.
That's it for now!
Sarah Margaret
