I had the SILASTIC  RING VERTICAL GASTRIC BYPASS 4.5 years ago.  I started at 255 and now weight 130-133 at 5'8.  I have the same problems you described.  I have terrible labs, eat very little and get sick often which has given me a lot of trouble with my teeth.  I wear a 0-2 and it looks too small.  The one advantage is I never gain weight no matter what I do.

I have had the same problems and haven't found anyone else to talk to.  I am 4 1/2 years out and haven't never gained a pound back but my labs are trashed and I am so tired all the time.  I get sick a lot and have a lot of problems with my teeth.  How are you doing now?

I didnt have to do a liquid or fast for my pre-op. My surgeon just wanted me to lose 5-10 lbs within the 2 weeks prior to surgery date but said i could lose the weight any method i wanted...i just went on a low calorie diet. i had to do liquid diet for 2 weeks post-op.

Topic: RE: Dr. Jossart - bariatric surgery program
I just wanted to post in case others do what I did and search for Dr. Jossart.  Dr. Jossart has gone into practice on his own and there is NO additional program fee.  Just want to set the record straight.  I've had nothing but positive experiences with him and his lovely staff.
