Need advice about surgeon!

I am looking for a good surgeon that does people over 500 pounds. I am 574. I'd like to email people that have been this weight and tell me about your surgeon. please. [email protected]

I did not use him, but my sister-in-law did-----it is Dr. Burrowes in Atlanta. He does the fobi pouch a lot, particularly for patients with high BMIs.

Amy, I used Dr. Appel out of Dekalb Medical Center. I was at 413 on the day of my surgery, but I know several of his patients that were 500+ and they are doing great. He only does the Open RNY, and he is excellent. The hospital can accomodate 500+. If you have any questions, please email me at [email protected]. Amy, I am 467 and Dr. Titus Duncan is doing Lap RNY on me Oct 10. He is in Atlanta and does surgery from Atlanta Medical Center (aka Ga. Baptist) He does a lot of really big people. Good luck dear! Stay Strong!
