help with the cava filter

Toni, what is your question?....the filter is to stop blood clots that may move.. I havn't had one but have known folks who have..and it's not a problem. You should ask your surgeons office for more details.. Brenda

Hi..Ginny, no thats her friends wedding..go to my profile and you will see my daughter with me. if you would like to look at my daughters wedding pics go to www.tportraits.net look at the right side of the page..chose "order on line" then choose "wedding" from the list then the first name "wright" Brenda I was told to go up to the tool bar on the explorer..down to internet options..delete cookies then delete files...this helps all the pics come up for some reason..I dunno, I am computer illiterate..LOL

I took shots in my stomache for 10 days after my surgery to help provent blood clots. This was the 1st time I've ever injected myself & I'm a big chicken but it was no big deal. Dr. Weiss mentioned another procedure that was like an "umbrella" that would catch any clots & could be removed a couple of months after surgery but I've forgot what it was called.

Hey Toni, don't worry about the filter, its not a big deal at all. Dr Salem George Jr is a wonderful, sweet person and he was done with mine before I knew it. I even asked him if he'd started yet. No pain what so ever. Take care Ange
