Hi Angela, You have been in my thoughts and prayers. You are going to LOVE your tummy when you can get straightened up again. You will probably be able to stand up in a full straight position in about 6 days at the most...or at least that's how it was with me. The tightened my tummy muscles really tight.....ha ha I have had an abdominoplasty before. Dr. Waterhouse done mine. I had the full one too, like you! After about 4 - 5 days, it's a piece of cake, you won't even need hubby to empty your grenades or help getting up. Just make sure you DO get lots of sleep because that's how our bodies heal themselves. I got a new belly button at the time too! I have all of this to look forward to again after I have my band surgery. But, this time -- I'm going to get a belly button ring! ha ha You will notice, maybe, that your tummy incisions and your belly button area will be numb for many months after this. It is the perfect time to get a tattoo above or below that area, or any piercing, (if you want them), because you won't feel it as much as you will later on. You will eventually get the feeling back. It took me years though. It was really weird. I would itch in that area and want to scratch, but when I did, it was like I wasn't reaching or finding the itchy spot. It's like I was itching from the inside... ha ha It is a weird sensation to have an itch and can't find it..... LOL Well, I'm glad you are home and doing well! Sharee

Hey Sharee, thanks! I'm thinking about a belly button ring too, lol. My belly button looks pretty nasty right now but it'll get better. Last night in my sleep I rolled over on my left side. Oh that hurt. Then when I got up my left side drain was leaking blood a little. Its ok now. I've had a spongebath, washed my hair, brushed my teeth, I feel almost human again lol. I'm going to post some incision pics later today! Hugs Ange
