New to forum

Hello to everyone! I am new here (have been posting some on Over 50) and wanted to get into the swing of things with people from my own state. I am going thru the pre-op testing at St. Joe East Weight Loss Center and look forward to having my consult with the surgeon. I enjoy reading the posts and the profiles as they have done more to educate me than anything else I have read. I appreciate any advice! Pat P

LOL I looked at the profile, the pic isn't bad but still just a little dark..I am not a good photographer ladies, sorry ;-( I sent it to Dr. Sonnanstine, he thought it was a great pic..he loves to see his patients happy.. Hey Sarah, my daughter told me if we have a clothing exchange she will take anything left over to over the Rhine, she goes down there with a group on Sundays and feeds a lot of hungry folks..they take clothing or anything else that others less fortunate may use. If you have winter coats that would be appreciated soon. did we decide on a date? how bout this month near the end of Sept? let me know

No definate date yet.... but the end of sept almost works better for me than oct does. Glad Dr. Tom liked the pic... if my eyes would have been open i'd like it better but even at that I still liked it enough to put it on my profile!

i have to check, it seems like i have something planned for the last weekend, but I can't remember what..lol

Congrats on your surgery. You will really like them over at St Joes. I had mine done there and it was great!

Hi! It's good to run into someone who has had WLS at St. Joe's. I am sure that I'll have plenty of questions. I saw on the St. Joe's site that you are a member there.....do I have to wait until I have a surgery date to have my profile on their site or am I not seeing a link or something that lets me do that? Hi Pat..........i am also a patient of theres at St.Joe..........i love them to death lol.......you can go on and out him down for your surgeon..........it is under your main account on here...it will say surgeons......its on the same page that you go to when you go to update you profile................if ya have any ? just email me lol........take care vickie
