Hi all................well i have got to my goal ,and now that i have got there ,i want to do alot of stuff that i didnt want to do before. I have learned through my wls surgery that there are alot of support out there for me now. Well im not gonna set here no more,im going to get up and go take my ged pretest and get my education, and im gonna find me a job and live life to my fullest......SO HAS WLS OPENED NEW DOORS IN YOUR LIFE!!!! That sounds great! It does open a lot of doors for you. If you can loose all this weight what else can you do. It's like you're being reborn! I'm very proud of you.

Hey Vickie, It's good to see you! I was thinking about you today wondering how you are doing and from the sound of it; you're doing well! It is wonderful to read everyone's profiles here and see how losing a vast amount of weight can change thier lives postively. It gives me such great hope for the future that I too will have an opportunity to live a life I've always denied myself, because of my weight. I see the weight loss to come as a chance to become the athlete that is deep inside of me longing to come out. I want a bicycle for Christmas and I've been letting that one known! I don't know if it will work, but we shall see. I've also decided that I'm going to go back to college in the summer of next year, so that I can finish my degree finally. It's been to long in idle time. I see the weight loss taking my pain away that has been weighing, not only on my joints, but also on my mental stations. Mike (my dear hubby) and I are always talking about the things that we are going to do when weight is no longer an issue. I get all giddy inside when I think of all the fun stuff we will be doing and some of the fun stuff we are doing now, just with the little weight we've lost already. It sounds as though you really had your plate full with the family responsibilities and I give you kudos for being the one to step up to the plate and take care of your family when they needed you. You are truly a remarkable woman. I have a lot of faith in you that you will have the life you deserve, all because you are going to give it to yourself with your hard work! Keep up the good work and please keep posting! Dee
