does medicare cover plastic surgery

has anyone had medicare cover plastic surgery tina

I dont think Medicare covers, but I am not certain. My pcp told me that Louisville Med Center does skin removal if you have had WLS if you donate the removed skin to the burn unit. I havent checked with them, but when I get to goal I will.

Tina, Medicare does not cover anything that is considered to be "cosmetic". This is an exclusion of Medicare benefits.
