Dr. Argotte, surgeon

Has anyone had Dr. Argotte for lap banding surgery? I am interested in hearing any comments, good or bad. I am still awaiting insurance approval, but in the meantime I would like to know more about his care. My first impression of him was good. He appeared to be very straight-forward concerning the surgery and pre-testing. I would like to hear from someone on the other side of their weight loss journey. Thanks

Hi Beth! Dr. Argotte did my open RNY on Aug. 3, 2004. I think he is a very caring, straight-forward doctor and he explains every detail of the procedure that you are going to have. I think he is a wonderful doctor! As for lap band surgery? I have no idea of that, but I imagine that he is well qualified to do it.
