Unbelievable!!

I've waited for 3 years for my insurance to add LapBand as a covered service. For 3 years they said "NO!" So I finally resigned myself to having RNY. Well, guess what?!?! They are adding LapBand for 2007! So now I get to have the surgery I wanted all along. I'm sitting here in tears. I'm such a dork. For anyone who has FEP BCBS, LapBand is being added for 2007!!

That's great!!! I have FEP BCBS as well and initially wanted lap band. I've decided on RNY because I have a lot to lose, but that's wonderful that those of us with this insurance can now choose between the two!
