First of all, sorry to those of u I promised to be home and chat with tonight! We were in Louisville all day long! I'm beat. Adams sore and tired. Allison of course is wide awake. Just my luck. Again, I promise I'm not ignoring u guys! Its just been nuts since the accident and with him being off work and home all the time. I do love u guys lots and lots! This morning we got up at 7am, got ready and headed up to Louisville for Adams appt with a orthopaedic surgeon. Our appt was 10am. We were there close to 2 hours discussing this new type of procedure that can help bulging, herniated disc without open surgery. Then he had set us up with his partner down at the pain control center. The appt there wasn't till 3pm. So we had lunch and hung out in Louisville till time for that. All the while Adams lower back was killing him. We were there 2 1/2 hours. The dr was very nice. He said he was going to give Adam a epidural steriod(sp?) pain shot today and if it didn't help in 2 weeks Adam goes back to have a discography and disc decompression. I'm beat. I'm exhausted. I can barely keep my eyes open. It has been one of those long draining days. Both of the dr's we saw today were super sweet and nice. The put Adam to sleep to do this epidural things. He has 2 needle puncture wounds on both sides of his spine in his lower back. He's sore and in a lot of pain. He's wondering if the shots were supposed to help immediately or do they take a little time??? I know he's sore from having it done, does it just take time to help if its going to help? Thanks, hugs and loves u all! Ange (who is freaking going to bed soon! Allison is usually up till 10pm but tonight her little booty i****ting the bed early!)

I have had three epidural injections since September, which has maxed me out for the year, as a person is only supposed to have 3 shots within a years time. I can safely say my third shot was the one that gave me some relief. I wouldn't have said that yesterday, though, when the pain decided to make an award winning entrance back into my life. So sorry he is experiencing such pain with his back. I have a bulging disc and one of my discs has a hole in it. No fun! Sometimes those shots make you worse before you get better, but I do wish him the best.
