Hey Chick,
I had the same thing a few days ago after my surgery. In my left shoulder. It was AWFUL. I put a damp towel on the dryer on high heat until it go nice and toasty then wrapped my arm it. This helped ALOT. I liekd it better than a heating pad because it was a more moist heart and was very soothing. Call me if you need anything!
Ohhhhhhh Vicki,
I had my surgery last Monday (11/20). I am STILL fighting pain in my right shoulder...in my back. I have been told it is atalectasis/pleurisy, possible pneumonia, possible trapped gas. I feel for you girl!! It is so frustrating to feel well otherwise. This is the worst pain I have ever had. I had to sit up against a heating pad, take the medicine for the pain and take hot showers. Nothing really helps me because it happens when I breathe in. Good luck....just remember that this too will pass.
