OT: Need some ideas?

I need some gift ideas for our neighbors/friends. I'm thinking about getting them a restuarant gift card for Ruby Tuesdays. Is that a good idea? And when u buy someone a gift card are u supposed to tell them the amount that is on it? I've never bought a gift card before and I don't want to be rude by specifing I spent a certain amount on it. What do u all think? Thanks Ange Also, their sweet baby boy I used to babysit will be 2 in January. He likes Spongebob and Thomas the Train. I thought about getting him a Thomas the Train bean bag chair, would that be appropriate for a little one? My stepson was 5 when I married his dad and we have a daughter so I'm not sure what little boys that age like.

Angelan when i buy a gift card it always has the price on them or i right in the card the amount,and yes this is a good gift for the neighbors or friends,i no when me and hubby are low on money or we cant go out that weekend because we have no funds lol..........i always dig out the good old gift cards,we even got one for walmart last christmas,and applebees,so there was our date lol.........and you no that thom is big this year and as for spongebod he rides high with all kids..........and you no trucks and cars are great also.............but you have all great ideas!!!! vickie

Thanks Vickie! How are u feeling tonight? Is that gas pain as bad as it was? I wish we had Applebees in Etown. Their food looks yummy! Of course I wouldn't be able to eat alot of it, lol. But I'd sure enjoy those few bites I could eat. I was going to get them a $20 Ruby Tuesday gift card, do u think that amount is ok? Or would that make me seem cheap?
