NOT LOSING

I am so frustrated. I had the lap band 3 mo ago. Lost 30 lbs. Had fill 4 weeks ago have not lost any weight since then. What is going on? Can anyone tell ME somthing positive?

I hope u start losing real soon. My prayers r with u. Who did ur surgery?

Pamela, I have no idea what might be going on with your lap band and weight loss. I had RNY, gastric bypass. I too hope you start losing soon. If I remember correctly, I think the lap band was going to cost me close to the same amount as RNY, so I elected to go with the more drastic surgery. I had 107 lbs. to lose and wanted the best solution for me. It's working so far. I'm not losing right now though but from what I've read, this is normal. Maybe it's normal with lap band not to lose with some of the fills too. Have you talked with your surgeon? Perhaps they need to fill a little more. Gale
