2 weeks out and feeling wonderful!!!

Hi All Well it's been 2 weeks today and I feel great! I went to church yesterday and back to work today and have done just fine. Last week I had an infection around one of my incision sights but the Dr. put me on an antibiotic and it is getting better now. I have lost 23 lbs. so far (WOO HOO, YIPPY, ALRIGHT) ha-ha Thoughts and Prayers Mini-Me

Yeah for u, 23 pounds in 2 weeks is awesome! Glad to hear from ya. Hope u continue to feel good. As Bro Jube used to say "It just gets gooder and gooder" I don't think he was talking about surgery though. I hear him and Ms Barbara are back at Yates. I need to get back myself. I miss it. I miss everyone!

I had my lap band put in on Dec. 5th and I'm down 21 lbs!! YEA!!!! It's getting harder though. I have started having hunger pains. I'm not craving anything, just hungry lost sooner than usual. I go back to the Dr. on Thursday. My family can tell I've lost weight already! They say it shows in my face and in my tummy. I can tell, but it was nice hearing them tell me. I haven't even asked anyone if they can tell. They just came out and told me. So, I'm doing good so far. Hope the rest of you are too!!! Hugs, Sharee

Thank you for posting this - it gives me hope to read when people are doing great. I'm going in for surgery Jan 8th, and my biggest fear at this point is what to expect in the first couple weeks immediately post-op.
