WOW...2 Months Post Op

Hello All, I had my 2 month post op visit with Dr. Tom today...and essentially I am down 40 pounds...What a great feeling...He showed me my pre op picture...and it is amazing... I feel so good...Wearing size 16's and loving it...I don't see him again for 4 months, and will have labs drawn then...He said I am doing fantastic for a light weight... WOO HOO... half way to goal... Amy

Yea way to go!!!!!!!!Get that camera out and start taking pictures. That is where you will see it the most. I am so proud of you and you looked beautiful tonight in mom's beautiful christmas sweater. Love ya

Thanks Jane, And I really got the compliments tonight...I was told I am so tiny...lol but that came from someone that had lap band the same time I had my surgery and isn't being very compliant with her diet...So go figure...Anyway...had a great time tonight...didn't over eat or have any problems with what I did eat...Made good choices...and even had some salad...It was sooooo goood... Amy

Congradulations! I am so happy for you. I can't wait until I am down 40. Mimi and I have our appts on Thursday. They sched us 15 mins apart. I think they did it because they know we are big ol babies and that we would have to go in with one another. Keep up the good work! Jenn

Jen if u don't mind me asking how much have u lost since ur lap band was done? I'm still stuck on which procedure to have so I'm trying to get as much info as I can and just trying to see what each case May be ..Tony

Thanks Jenn, You both will do fine...Dr. Tom is so wonderful...I see a girl named Lisa everytime I go to the office...We had our surgeries on the same day...Are you going to go to the support group meeting next tuesday?...Hope to see you there... Amy
