MOW I:M REALLY WORRIED

Ok I went to the surgeons office 4 my testing on the 13th and they sent me a letter saying I needed to follow up w/my pcp to see y my white blood count was up. I went to see him on this past Monday and it was still high but not as high as it was on the 13th so he told me to come back on Friday(today) so I went and had my blood taken again. It was 12.4 on the 13th and 12.2 on Monday and now it is 15.4. Wtf!!!I haven"t been sick ,no fever,nothing. I don"t understand and I don"t go back to my pcp 4 another month so now I have a month to stress about this **** Will they still do my surgery with the elevated blood count? Has anyone had this problem or what. As if the holidays isn"t stressful enough now I gotta deal with this stuff. Tony is there any correlation between stress and the white blood cell count. You might need to quit worrying so much and just calm down. All your doing is going to give yourself an ulcer. Remember we didn't get fat overnight, so if it takes an extra month or two to get the surgery guess what you will still be overweight when they do it. As long as your doctor isn't saying anything about leukemia than don't worry. Enjoy the holidays and your family the surgery will happen one day and from then on your new journey will begin. I guess it could b from stress..I don't know but I hate not knowing..My pcp said it could b from that h.Poli bacteria I have in my stomach but he didn't do any other test besides the blood test..I've been taking the prevpac @ 8 days now..Anyone knows how long it takes to clear up.I know I gotta take it 4 2 weeks..Any info ?...Tony

Have they checked your gallbladder? I read that gallbladder disease can make your WBC high too. Hope everything is okay. Michelle
