just recieved bad new
Jessica it is treatable but you need to get on line and read everything you can. Have you had the symptoms for a long time or is this your first breakout? Good luck. Its not the end of the world you just need to be aware of what you can and can not do. The medication is expensive hopefully your insurance will cover it. If not there are programs thru the manufactorer that can assist. Good luck. Keep your chin up.

Jessica, don't panic, it is estimated that by the year 2010 that over 50 percent of American women will have it. It is very treatable, and does not have to alter your life significantly. It will just help you be more aware of your sexual health, which can be a good thing. One thing that preparing for this surgery does is puts you in a position where you become aware of your health status and allows you to improve your health on all fronts, as well as mind, body, and spirit. Good luck on your journey to being the most you can be.
