Well its hardly the right sort of weather to even be thinking about this but the sales are on lol. We've decided to get a 33ft round pool package from Mikes Pools in Russell Springs Ky. He has great prices on his stuff. U wouldn't believe how his prices compare to those around here or up in Louisville. My aunt got a 24ft round from a place up in Louisville a couple of years ago and paid more than $5000 for it. We're getting the 33ft round, all the stuff that goes with it, ladder, liner, pump, sand filter, vac****kimmer, under water lights, winter cover, a years worth of bacquacil (sp?) chemical for around $3200. That includes tax, morter sand, and blocks. We bought a 30ft round from him years ago but sold it with our place we had before we moved to town. I missed our pool but until we bought this place a couple of years ago we had no where to put one. I know its to freaking cold up here right now to even think of pools but his sales end in March. I love a good sale. This summer I plan on having a huge pool party/b-b-q. Anyone interested? We've plenty of room! All my family in Florence, would love to have u guys down! Hugs Ange Ryan, this was my good news, but it pales in comparrison with your approval. I'm still just so happy for u. I got up at 7am just so I could tell Adam when he got home from work. He thinks I'm nuts of course but u've been waiting so long for this and I'm just so happy its finally here! Let me know when u get your date!

Hey Vickie, pools aren't that hard to take care of. We loved ours. Mr Mike is great and his prices are way better than any I've seen around here. Our land where we used to live was not even at all. We had to have a back hoe clear us a 30ft round spot, putting it up wasn't too bad, it took 2-3 days cause we only had us and Adams dad helping. The actual care isn't bad at all. U just add the chemicals like he says and vaccum it out like u r supposed too. Its not a big deal at all. For $3200 we get the whole deal. All chemicals for a year, a 18in A Frame ladder that held me when I was 300 plus pounds, a 25 mil liner (not sure what that means but Mr Mike said it was one of the best), all the trimmings come with it and for this price we also get the underwater light which is cool for night swimming, the winter cover also. He used to have a website and I'm getting ready to call him and ask him what the web addy is. I can't find anything online for Mikes Pools but his number and address. We're close to Bardstown! I shop there all the time. We actually ate out up there Sunday afternoon at a steakhouse called Michael D's. They let me have the price for a kids buffet cause Adam told them I'd had a gastric bypass. The food was really good. We're about 20 miles on this side of Bardstown toward Etown. Louisville is 30 miles north of us and Bardstown is like 20 miles east of us on out hwy 62. I live off hwy 62 between Etown and Boston. When I have my big summer bbq/pool party we'd love it if u guys were able to come down! When I find out Mr Mikes website I'll post it on here for ya. He's a sweet old fart. What's going on with the hernia? U have really been thru it, u poor thing. I hope u get to feeling better soon!

Hey Vickie, heres that website. He has a sale that goes thru the end of March and if u pay $100 down in the month of Feb u get $100 of the price u see on his site. Like the pool we are getting is a 33ft round Quantum by Swim and Play he says its his best deal right now. We had the 30 ft Quantum years ago. The one we want now is $2399 for the package plus tax and since I'm going to buy it in Feb I guess it'll be $2299 lol. Heres the website if u r interested or someone u know. He's the bestest! U know I'm not sure if we're supposed to put websites on here or not, if u want it just PM me or email me at [email protected] and I'll send it to u. I don't want to get in trouble with OH for putting it on here if I'm not supposed to lol.

Ange, Congratulations on the pool! With all the weight I have been losing I am looking forward to actually getting in a pool this summer without being embarrassed. I just hope I don't scare anyone with my scar. LOL -Steve
