New to the OH site

Hi everyone, I am new to the site and so far I think its the greatest site I've come across on the internet thus far! I am hoping to have the RNY late Feb/early March 2007...one more pre-op test to go, then they will submit to the insurance. I have been debating my decision to have this on a daily, sometimes hourly, basis. This site and the people here have really inspired me, so thanks to everyone. Hope to make some really goods friends on this site!

Welcome! I love your name and messageboard pic! I don't know alot about Dr Wheeler personally but if I can ever be of help to ya just let me know! I had surgery almost 2 years ago and its been amazing. I just can't explain in words how it is to actually be able to lose weight after wanting to my whole life. I'd always dreamed of being thin but could never lose much on my own. U take care and I hope to be one of those friends! Hugs Angela

Hey. I thought I would say Hi. I'm sorta new to this site myself, but I've met so many wonderful people that are uplifting and encouraging. So welcome! Hope you find what you're looking for. I know what you mean about debating the decision to have surgery. I have felt that way many times, but I've seen so many people that have had amazing results that I feel like it's time for me to do it. Good luck with your testing.

Welcome!!! You will learn so much from these outstanding people. They have helped me so much and I am having my surgery (Lap Band) the first week of February. So we'll be seeing ya here. Sandi

You have found a home here! I love the pic and your name! We are here to help you in anyway we can. I had my surgery 3 months ago and I have had "buyers remorse" several times but honestly it was the best thing I have done. I have lost 53 lbs, went from size 24 to size 18 and have gone off my blood pressure meds, diabetic meds so it has been worth it. Whenever you get doubts just get on here!
