Amy this pulmonary test I gotta have done on Monday is driving me crazy..I don't smoke anymore but I;m still afraid of it cuz I still get out of breath no matter what I do...What do I do..How does it work...Help..Tony

Tony, Sorry I can't help you much there...I have never had one, and really don't know much about them....I would have thought that your Dr. would have explained it all to you...The only thing I know about them is that you breath into a machine, that shows your lung capacity....It's not a painful test...And I would guess that this will be a tool for the anesthesiologist....I wouldn't worry about it... CONGRATS ON THE NOT SMOKING ANYMORE...I AM PROUD OF YOU AMY

I hope ur right..I probaly am just being a little bit over reactive. I just want everything to go ok so when I go back 4 boot camp on Tuesday they can give me a surgery date. That would b the best thing in the world to me right now so I;m keeping my fingers crossed. Just don't want anything to go wrong and have to wait even longer...The smokin was a hard deal but I have accomplished this and am so proud to say I'm a quitter, hopefully a loser soon...Tony

Tony , Its not that bad they will give you a breathing test in one room to tell you lung compastity sorry i know i didnt spell that right do you already have your chest xrays ?because that will help . than you will see the doc and he will just check your xrays and make you breath for him it not that bad i was worried to but just try to relax and that will help . have any?? email me anytime
