Our neighbors little boy turns 2 today and they've invited us to his bday party at Mr Gattis. I've never been to one of their partys. When we go we go, Adam and the kids eat pizza, then play games in Gattiland. What should I expect today? I know they have a small room for the kiddie partys and I assume we go, take Allison and sit around and chat while she's there. At these small kiddie partys do they normally give out tokens for Gattiland or should I hit the good old ATM on the way down? Ok, I'm nervous. I've never been to a kiddie party at Gattiland lol. Well I'm nervous mainly cause this is the same neighbor whose wife told me not to tan on my front porch last summer cause her hubby was looking at me. They've been over for bday partys and just to chat since then but its awkward knowing she's sort of paranoid about me. I never know how to act around her. I'm a happily married woman, the last thing I want is to flirt with her hubby. I like her and her hubby both and would like to be better friends. Oh well. Go ahead and laugh I would. Me, a 29 yr old woman nervous about a kids bday party at Gattis. lol, what will I think of next?

From what I remember (of course it's been over a decade since I've been to Mr Gattis), they give out a few tokens to each child. Like, maybe 8 I think. (That's $2 worth) But a lot of kids do take extra money.

We had a great time. They didn't do tokens, maybe cause they're little one is only turning 2. But they had gift bags for the kids and bought all of our dinners. It was nice of them and we had fun.
