Second Attempt

Well, now that it's after the first of the year, my insurance has switched over. I saw Dr Tom last Tuesday and get this: Not only have I dropped 16 pounds from my last visit in September, I'm all good to go to apply with my new insurance! I see the nutritionist Wednesday morning for a "refresher" but other than that, I'm all set to get filed and approved. Keep your fingers crossed folks. I've been set to do this since last summer when my original insurance denied it repeatedly. This one specifically states it covers it when diagnosed with morbid obesity (and baby, do I have that covered). See y'all around!! Happy new year! Kat

Hey Katrina! You know I'm right there with you on this. Literally! My nutri. visit is 11 am wedn, so say hi. BTW for those that don't know Katrina and I work for the same place so we are fighting the same battles. Katrina give me a call or text me when you hear something PLEASE. And I pray it is good news.

I had my visit this morning with the Nutritionist. Nothing new. Have to monitor my blood sugar between now and the surgery, but other than that, everything is all set. I called my insurance company yesterday and they have the paperwork! *happy dance* I should have an answer in less than 30 days. K.
