DANG

I knew I was gonna fail the pulmonary test and I did. They then took my blood and told me my oxygen in my blood looked good so I hope that is good news. Can this stop my surgery? Any info anyone...Please..I need some good news...Tony

Tony, I'm sorry your test didn't go so well. I don't see how it can stop you from getting your surgery, because medications can help you in that area. I'm not totally sure, but hang in there, it will happen for you! Dee

Tony, I am so sorry. They just want to make sure that you are physically able to withstand surgery. Are you a smoker? Have you quit? For how long? I had to have the tests also, because of the Sarcoidosis in my lungs. Write back...things will get better, Ginger

Yeah I smoked 4 @ 18 yrs..3-4 pks a day and quit @ 5 weeks ago..They said the blood test they did looked good so I hope that is good enough..I wpuldn't think it would cancel my surgery would it..Tony

Tony, I don't think this would keep you from surgery but I am not sure. Keep your head up and keep the faith. We will say an extra prayer or two for ya also. It will all work out in the end for you. Michael D.

Thanks and I can use the prayers as I'm freaking out about this..I go 4 my boot camp in the a.M. And I;m so afraid that they r gonna tell me that they r gonna not let me have surgery..If everything goes right I will get my surgery date tomorrow so I don't want this to screw anything up...Tony

The test is probably to let them know if you will need oxygen and how much, so they can regulate it. Don't worry, you will do fine. Sharee
