Thinking about having the weight loss surgery

I am thinking about having the weight loss surgery, but I am a little afraid. I went to Dr. Gellers seminar a few weeks ago and was very pleased with him. Has he performed surgery on anyone?

Nicky, I am a patient of Dr Gellers and I am having surgery on the 31st of this month. I really liked him the one time that I met with him. I will keep you informed about him. I work a guy who Dr. Geller did his surgery and he has nothing but good things to say about Dr. Geller, also my sister works at Suburban and she has nothing but good to say. I really appreciate your response. How long did it take you to get your surgery date?

I got my insurance approval in 3 days and the Dr's office was the one to call me and tell me that I had been approved. When they called they gave me a surgery date and told me that they were sending me a pre-op packet with a list of appointments for blood work up, cardiologist, and pulmonary visits. These are for surgery clearance. Dr. Geller will tell you that once you are approved he likes to set the surgery date about 30 days out so that you have enough time to get all of these done. It flies by. My surgery is one week from today and I am just now slowing down enough to feel kind of anxious about it. But I know I have to do this so I am ready.
