How Long In The Hospital??
Thanks for all the input! I really appreciate it so much. I love this board and plan on being here a long time.
I am really hoping to get the call from the doctors office soon to actually meet with the doctor. My PCP had recommended I use Dr. Allen so that is who I will meet with. I am very nervous about the surgery and a little apprehensive but want to get it done. I want to get healthy for me and my two beautiful boys ages 5 (soon to be 6) and 8. My boys are adopted and I have had them since they were 5 months old and 2 years old and they are half brothers. Both came the same day. I was married at the time (still am for now) however my husband has been in prison since 9/04 and due to get out this year, however, he will not be coming home. That is a whole other story. My brother lives with me now and helps me with the boys (what a blessing). Sorry about the long rant - I just get started talking and can't stop. I love helping people *****e wanting to be a nurse, I think - the Anatomy and Physiology is VERY hard) got a big test coming up this Monday. Will be studying the next few days a lot. However, I will be taking breaks and coming on the board. Take care everyone and blessings to all!

Hey Janice my surgery done Laproscopic was done on a Monday. I was home on Wednesday and I was driving the following MOnday. I hear everyone say two weeks. But since you are just doing classes I would think you would be ok. The walking is great. Everyone is diffrent. I took no painpills once I got home. The worst for me was getting up and down from a laying down position, but once up I was fine. A little slow. Just have your snacks and water and meals all ready.
