Surgery tomorrow...UGH!

So I have been back to the DR after my trip to the ER on Thursday with some pretty bad abdominal pain etc...I have to have some exploratory surgery tomorrow to see whats wrong. They think I MAY have a kink in my intestines (that sounds pleasant). So we should know whats happening tomorrow! I may not be able to post a recipe tomorrow!

Well Hillbilly thats what mine did to,i have perforated bowels....they keep kinking and unkinking.......I will be looking into another one soon. But mine causes me doulbed over pain when i eat so here lately i have been having soft food and that has helped,but Dr.Steiner will get ya fixed,he has fixed me like 4 times now. I hope you go in and get to come home quick. The last time mine was done at 9 am and i was home at 2 pm. Please keep us updated ok................Vickie

Thanks for the replies guys. I hope to be home sometimes this afternoon. He said it will be outpatient (Thank Goodness). Hopefully it will not be too bad! It just sucks cause I just had a small hernia repair the end of November. AT any rate I have full faith in Dr Steiner. I told him yesterday he had to get me better by March since we are going to Vegas. He said if I was not better by then he would tag along and make sure I got through OK...lol. Hope to talk to ya'll soon!

Hang in there. That is what happened to me in October. Ended up with a small twist. Felt so much better. Mine was really easy but they took my Gall Bladder out also. You will feel so much better. Keep us posted. This was the only problem I had in 15months. Jane
