I'm back!

Well, I made it home minus a hernia and FOUR yes FOUR adhesions. Whats up with THAT! But oh well, Doc said he has me fixed right up and all should be good. I've decided to take a little mini vacation and not go back to wor****il Monday. Get rested up and go back at 100%! I will post a new recipe tomorrow! Have a great night ya'll!

GLAD YOU MADE IT!!!! i no those adhesions wrapped around my bowels that caused 8 blockages....just walk as you no because of the gas.......and you deserve some time off!!!! Dont worry about that recipe..............get your rest!!!! if ya need anything let me no ok................Vickie

HI Ladies, Thanks for the replies. I have gas in my shoulders and it is about to kill me! UGH. Ive been walking and moving around and using the heating pad, so it is getting a bit better. Hopefully I will be able to sleep better tonight. I had trouble laying down. That sucked but oh well! I am feeling better today though. I am so happy I can drink without pain! Talk with ya'll soon!

Yeah i was gonna tell ya to use that heating pad lol,mine always settles in my right shoulder. But i also took those loritabs and the darvocets when i needed them. You no i had to sleep in the recliner for 2 nights because of gas. Im glad you can drink without pain,but let me say that you know no the feeling of having something not right. I no last year when i was on vacation i knew but i suffered 3 days while there,in myrtle beach.So im glad you are fixed and you are vegas bound lol........take care!! Vickie

Glad to hear u are great.... I have a question for you.... When i swallow i am having a lot of pain. And i chew and chew and chew and chew. My appetite is not great, but when i do eat it sometimes feels like i am swallowing a big ball. It makes me vomit sometimes. Should I be worried? I have major constipation, that nothing seems to help...so I am feeling very frustrated. thanks, Miranda

Hey Miranda when i have a blockage i cant eat or drink i get doulbed over in pain and a hernia hurts so bad,But if its when you swallow your stoma could be to small,mine had to be scoped 3 times till i could eat with no pain...............just always call the doc if it gets bad,they are on call 24/7.................vickie
