Hello, everyone Iam so happy. I just got the approval for the lapband. My surgery date is 2/9/07 I was really surprised they got back to me so soon and approved me. I was hoping to find some new friends to talk to about my surgery and what really to expect after surgery. Has anyone had the surgery at Jackson Purchase in mayfield, ky. If so how was it? I only found one post about it. Everyone seems so nice there. Well bye for now, hope to hear from someone. Thanks Brenda

Welcome Brenda.......i had rny and i no one person on here that had lapband and thats Mimi,she seems to be doing great with hers. I really have never heard of your doc. But just make sure the are gonna stick around,mine left town when i was 5 mo out. And you will always need a doc. I was told that always go with a center of excellence so thats what i did this time.............congrats on your date. vickie
