Hey All; Been Down...

Hey everyone, Again I must apologize for being a stranger. I had to have another surgery (not WLS related) and ended up having a complication from it. It's been one of the most painful experiences of my life and I've not been online much anywhere or having any contact with friends and family. I've been in bed and on meds fighting an infection. I'm just now coming around, still in pain, but nothing compared to when this all started. Anyhoot, I just want to let you all know that I'm thinking of you and you're all in my prayers for a healthy, happy life. My weight is still steady, although it feels slow sometimes. I only have 17 more pounds to go before I am a member of the century club. I've been having some terrible gas lately and it's driving me freaking nuts! I'm keeping gasX in business! Mike is doing great, just working hard! He's 14 more pounds (if memory serves me right) before he's in the century club too. He's been such a great guy helping me, nursing me back to good health. I see my surgeon (not WLS related surgeon) next Tuesday and I'm hoping that I'll be pain free by then and have clearance to get back into my routines. Oh baby you are to kind. It has been a very tough time of late but we are starting to turn the corner and hopefully you will get the all clear next Tuesday from the doc. I know we are both going nuts not being able to get to the pool and do our exercise. We are sendong prayers and great vibes to everyone here and hope you all are doing well. God Bless Michael

Hey pretty lady! I am sorry to hear u have been going thru this. I hope that u r pain free asap! I was hoping this summer (well anytime u want to u r welcome) but I was hoping this summer when I have my big pool party/get together u and Michael will be able to come. We're putting in a 33ft round above ground pool this spring and I want to have a big get together with all of my oh ky family. U take care of yourself and hope u r all better soon. Is everything ok from this other surgery u have had?

Hey Angela, I think of you everyday and I'm so sorry I've been such a distant, fair weather friend. I am so looking forward to meeting you and Adam (as is Mike) and any party you would throw, we would feel privilege to attend. The WLS is going well. I haven't had any complications as of yet (knock on wood) and I hoping not too. I do feel a slight lump with slight pain on my right side and I'm wondering if it's a hernia waiting to happen. I hope not, but when I see Doc. Steiner in the spring, I'll be sure to ask. I'm only 17lbs. from the century club! I am very happy with that. It feels like a million miles away, but I know I'll reach it soon. When I do, I'll be only 11-pounds from being under 300lbs. and I've not been under that in years. Mike and I are doing well. How is Adam doing from his surgery? I hope that things are going well for you guys; you both deserve a break from everything that's happened. When I get back on my feet, Mike and I still want you guys to come up to Lexington for a visit. Thanks for asking about us-- Take care-- Dee
