can we eat tomatoes a month out?

just wondering if anyone has had a problem eating tomatoes....i want to try and afraid to.

My nutritionist tells me I can have chili, and there's tomato product in it, but I think it really depends on what your diet allows. You'd have to ask your clinic/nutritionist/doctor for yourself. That's my guess.

yeah i guess thats what i will have to do......i dont know why i want a darn tomatoe so bad...lol.....i was thinking of making chili and i also wanted to put diced tomatoes in it. i think i am going thru that phase where i miss certain foods alot. thanks for the advice! Sheila

My surgeon said yes to tomatoes (raw, canned, in soups, etc--however!) by the one month point. I ate them as early as 2 weeks out (the canned ones) without ever having a problem. I'd say take small bites and chew well as with anything else and I'll bet you do fine! Hugs, Lea
