That is one thing that didn't change for me, Chris. I go to bed thinking about food and wake up thinking about what I will eat when my feet hit the floor...Heaven forbid I would miss a meal..lol Unfortunately I have to work really hard on keeping in control now that I can eat more.. you guys are doing really well, hang in there and don't forget to drink, drink, drink!!

Hi Brenda, Did you have a time after surgery that you didn't have an appetite? Just wondering if I'll get mine back someday....although I hope not. And trust me....I'm a drinking fool lately! 75oz and counting.... Chris

I'm not Brenda but.... yes there will come a time when your appetite comes back.. it's not really hunger pains appetite.. just the thoughts of continual grazing.. enjoy the honeymoonand make the MOST OF IT..

I remember not wanting to eat.. bu****ching the Food channel after WLS.. and I never watched 'em before and be careful when walking outside... remember when walking from A to Z .. you still have to walk back from Z to A one day I thought I would never get back home.. I'm always excited for the newbies in a couple months.. you will start waking up feeling skinnier and skinnier.. awwweee i miss it

Hi Rhonda! How are you doing? Awww....I was hoping to never want to eat again! Grazing is what got me here in the first place. Maybe when I start walking outside I better have someone follow me in a car, like in the commercial where the guy follows the girl around playing music on the car stereo as she jogs, in case I can't make it back from Z to A!

i think the grazing is in our heads... and the surgery was on our stomach.. so the head problems we still have to deal/battle with... it helps tho if you are a dumper

My appetite has come back, but not the same as it was before. I find myself having hungry days and not so hungry days. I usually up the protein on my hungry days, so I wont eat. It helps me a lot. I have forgotten a meal, or 2, but my hubby keeps me line, because the tool works best when we eat properly. Not eating is just as bad as eating too much; either case slows weight loss. Dee
