Hi Marty, Welcome to the KY board! You're doing so great! Congrats to you. I completely understand about mobility issues. I was having a hard time walking any distance at all. Even going to the grocery was a struggle for me and many times I'd break it down into several trips during the week because I couldn't make it all the way through the store in one trip. Now I'm down about 87 pounds and can walk and stand as much as I want. It's such a great feeling! Keep up the great work! Chris

Hello Marty and welcome to the board!! You're doing fantastic and congratulations on your weight loss! It is such a fantastic feeling to be able to do things again that we've not been able to do because of our weight. I too have trouble walking and even more so before my surgery. I am so much better now than before. I use a cane, but now find myself forgetting it or walking away from it when I'm out. My doc says his goal is to take it away from me. I think one day he will and I won't mind in the least! Anyhoot, welcome to the board and keep up the good work! Take care-- Dee

Hi and Congratulations. You will find everything changes. I too suffered so bad from back pain. To go to Sams would kill me. But that is one pain I am glad is gone. Each day gets better. Sounds like you have a great attitude. It's normal to be afraid to try stuff. Get use to what feels good in that new pouch. Its not fun to make it angry. I am 16months out and just last week I got sick. Its a very humbling experience to say the least. If you have any questions let us know but most of all let us know how you are doing. Jane
