Hey everyone, Adam normally takes care of all this and I'm sure he will. When we had our first pool back in 2003 before we sold our house and moved, our back yard was on a hill and not level. We had to dig out a big hole cause it wasn't level. We've bought a 33ft round pool package from Mikes Pools in Russell Springs (if u live in Ky or close and u want a pool, he's the one to talk to. He has great prices. We got the whole kit and kaboodle, everything, cover, yr's worth of chemical, a underwater light and the whole pool package for $3100 tax and all. If u r interested in getting his website or # PM me or email me at [email protected]. I'm not advertising for him, he just has unbelievable deals and he's a sweetheart.) Anyway, back to the topic on hand. We've bought a 33ft round pool. This summer we're going to sit it up. We did the first one ourselves its not too difficult. What I'm wondering is our back yard now is fairly level. I'm wondering if we should have someone come in and smooth off a spot big enough? Adam thinks he can take our garden tiller and take the top layer off and then rake it down. I think that sounds like a lot of work and since I'm lazy I'm wondering if it would be better to have someone take a bobcat or something and make us a spot? It'll be a while yet. We're not putting it up till the first of May. Thanks for any tips. I'm sure Adam knows about this. I just wanted other opinions. Generally he pretty much knows what he's talking about. Don't tell him I said that for goodness sake, he'll be unbearable to live with. He already thinks he knows everything. Just wanted some opinions in case some of u might have put up a pool on fairly level ground without alot of escavating work done. Of course we have to buy 14 tons of morters sand and 33 blocks for the pedestals. I know that part. I'm just worried about the leveling. Thanks and good night Ange
