Pre-op visit today

Today was my pre-op visit. It's seeming more real like it's really going to happen. I also met my surgeon today and he put me right at ease. I was a bit worried about that, hoping I picked the right surgeon. Just 9 more days!

I did my pre-op vist on Feb 19th I see my surgeon on the 16th of march. I am so very excited also I know how you feel. Were are you haveing yours and which type?

I'm having mine at St. Joseph East in Lexington. And I'm having RNY. I've been waiting for so long seems like, had to go through the medical weightloss for 6 months first. And I guess I just felt like I was going through the motions. Now it's almost here and I'm getting more exited. And I admit more worried but it's not as bad as it probably will be next week LOL.

Hi Tammy, I remember when I had 9 days to go! I couldn't stop thinking about it even if I wanted to. Just think about how much better you'll feel when you start losing, it's a wild ride! Take care and keep us posted.

Congrats hun and I am happy for you. I know what you mean about nerves. I was so nervous when I met the surgeon. I felt like my heart was racing out of my chest. I cma insurance waiting for a surgery. I hope all goes well for you and keep the message board informed. .... Char

Hi Tina, So far SJ Bariatric center has been great. I had to go through 6 months of medical weightloss before my insurance would approve me and I went through their program. They've been very supportive and helpful. I have Dr. Greenlee. Thanks Tina Tammy

Tammy, Know how u feel my surgery is March7th and my pre-op and final visit is tomorrow it is all i can think about and trying to get everything ready i have even had trouble sleeping. I know things will be better but it is still very scary i have never had a surgery before. Thanks Tracey
