A Revision:

Hey I am waiting approval from medicaid on having a revision...I was wondering if anyone here has had one...I don't know really what to exspect, except it's sort of like having gastric bypass again....Let me know if you can tell me anything...Thanks

In 5/03, I had a Lap Band. In 1/05, my band was removed. It had eroded and perferated my stomach in two places. I am currently waiting to hear, hopefully this week from my insurance company, so I can have a RNY. I had a scope 3/2/07, my scarring looked good and should not interfere with the RNY. Has you DR. done revisions before? Has he scoped you to see if your stomach looks OK to have a RNY? Good Luck.
