Hi gang, well I returned home last night amid a big snow storm, but I am ever so happy to be here!! Everything went fine, I am feeling okay, just can't stand up straight to walk sometimes...lol...but I suppose that is normal. Still having quite a bit of pain in my left side where the JP drain is. Start on my full liquid diet today, just hoping I can tolerate it okay. The hospital stay was basically uneventful, except let me say that if you are going to have your surgery done at King's Daughter's, make absolute sure you have a support person with you...this is another whole story I will write about in the future...but just let me say that I thank God for my DH, for without him I would have been in terrible shape. Thanks to everyone for your support, prayers, kind words, and well wishes. A special thanks to Stephanie for always being there to answer my questions and being my angel without even knowing it or signing up to be it....lol.

Hey, glad you're home!! I think that you told me once you were in the medical field, I'm a nurse. I think that when you are in the hospital you know all the little things that should happen because you are familiar with the routine. When I had my little boy they didn't do alot of things they were supposed to do. But since I was a nurse I knew what to look for. I don't know if this was just me or nurses everwhere that feel like this sometimes. Anyway, glad you're home and feeling relatively OK. Good luck!!
