OT: V6 or V8???
I am such an idiot! I can't figure out what the heck I want. I was going to settle with a mini van, theres 5 of us and I was thinking ok, mini vans would have plenty of room. Then Adam got me to looking at pick up trucks. The supercab or supercrew Ford F150's. He's getting one of those, but of course he doesn't want to share. He did say if I can find something in my price limit he doesn't mind if I get a V8. I love the Ford Expeditions but just never thought I could get one. I have found several good used ones, in my price range with low miles. Do any of u have an Expedition? How does it do on gas? I'm wondering if the insurance would be alot higher than the older Ford Explorer we have right now? I don't want a 4x4. I just don't want to settle for something I don't truly want because I'm scared of going to the gas station with it. We have to drive 80 miles to get our son every other weekend. Thats 80 down, 80 back on a Friday and then the same that Sunday. Here lately he's only been coming once a month cause of band and wrestling. But Adam's afraid of the Expeditions with gas and he thinks it will cost more, alot more on our auto insurance. Why do us mommas gotta settle with mini vans while the daddys get the cool trucks lol? Theres nothing wrong with a van. A expedition is like my dream vehicle. I think we all have stuff we look at and say, man, it'd be nice to have that. Ok, if anyone has a Expedition pls give me some feedback I can show Adam on it. I called my Ford dealer and he's saying the difference between a V6 explorer and a V8 Expedition would not be that much, but of course he's wanting to sell me a frigging Expedition so he would say that.
