Big time WOW for me!

Well I am just flabbergasted, if thats a word. Obesityhelp emailed me tonight and wanted to know if I would give my permission to let them use me, my weight loss surgery story, in their magazine. I have to send in a before pic, a after pic (u know I'm getting all fixed up in my new dress tomorrow, wish I had a real fancy one, and making Adam play photographer again) they need a statement from me about my surgery and how its affected my life. U know I'll be telling how great Dr Shina is, how great God has been to bless me with this surgery. I'm just so floored. They said there wasn't a guarantee that I'll be in it but to even be asked is just a huge thing for me. I'm shaking. We got crappy news from our attorney on the settlements for pop, Allison, and me this afternoon and I've been down, well not down cause we still are blessed in so many ways. Yes, I admit I got down at first but then I thought, I'm healthy, my family is healthy, we have a nice home, we have so much. We don't need a huge settlement. We have all we need. Adam still hasn't gotten a offer. Then tonight I was sitting here doing my budget for the next 2 weeks and I got online and wow, theres a email from someone at obesityhelp.com saying they'd like to consider me for their magazine. For those of u who aren't familiar with obesityhelp its a free website for those of us researching a weight loss surgery, surgeon, whatever. I've made alot of friends on their since I joined in 2004 and to me even though I haven't met many of them, they're family and I wanted to share this with u guys. I might not be picked and if I'm not that is just fine, it blesses me that they even asked. Hugs ya'll

Ditto what Jen said. I can't think of a better person here for them to choose. You are always so kind and helpful to everyone, offering support and any information. You've worked so hard to be the new you and you look fantastic. It's just total bonus that you are one of the sweetest people I've come to know and I look forward when we can meet in person. Let us know if your story is exposed, because I'll be sure to get a copy of that issue. Hell, I've been considering their magazine for awhile now. Thanks Dee. It'll be ok on the settlements. I might just have to get a mini van instead of a suv lol but it'll be fine. Either way.
