Good morning everyone. The pic I have as a before now is a pic that was taken 8 wks post op. I'd already lost 40 pounds. I think my weight in it was around 272. Last night I found some older pics of me. They were taken the summer of 02 and 03. I was thinking about using one of them as my before on here to really show how far I've come. I'm thinking the one in the yellow swimsuit really shows me in all my pre op glory so to speak. That pic was taken 6-8 months after Allison was born. When I met Adam in 99 I had been around 260 for years. Then I met him. He was a truck driver when we met. I went otr with him for a year. There was no exercise being out there cause we were riding around all the time. On the road 5-6 days a week before even going home. Eating fast foods everyday. I still stayed between 265-270. Then I got pregnant with Allison, went over the 300+ mark. The day I met Dr Shina for my consult and seminar my weight was 324. All these pics were pretty much over that 300 mark. I put them in the photos section of my profile. They're are 4 of them. I probably won't leave all of them on there. But I thought it might be helpful to some one pre op now to look and see where I was and how far I've come. Which do u all think I should use as a before? Hugs Ange

Thanks Vickie, even if they don't choose me I'm just honored to even be considered. U know I was thinking the other day that I still look fat but compared to those babies I don't lol. I'll leave them on for a while. I think I'll send in the yellow bathing suit one cause even though its a hideous picture, it shows exactly how far I've come. Adam said thanks lol. He actually gained 20-25 pounds while he was hurt and off work. Hugs Ange

Angela.....I would never have guessed that the pics you just posted were the same person in the current picture. You certainly are an encouragement. WOW.... I've finally got a "penciled in" date for RNY. 3/19. The insurance co. called today and told me, they will be calling me no later than Monday, 3/12 late regarding my approval. Please pray nothing goes wrong. Pray USA

Angela, I agree with the other post, you should leave them up, to show how far you have come and how hard you have worked to reach your goal. It is something you should be very proud of and I know you are. I would not have guessed it was the same beautiful lady in the pics. Journeys like yours keep me hanging on to my patience while I wait for my surgery date. Congratulations, I really hope that the magazine chooses you for their story. And like Vickie said, you will make the Kentucky board very proud. You represent all of us that hope to meet their goal as you have. You go girl!!! Belinda....

Good morning Angela. Your before pictures look just like me right now. I'm not kidding. We must have the same body type. I'm almost 5 weeks post op and I'm just hanging on for my first fill. Your pictures have given me the hope I need for this day. I sincerely thank you for sharing them! You look wonderful now! Congratulations on everything you've accomplished! Karen

You should so totally use the picture with you in the yellow bathing suit. Now with that aside-- Damn Angela, you HAVE come a looooong way!! I really hope that Obesity-Help does the expose on you. Your story, I am certain, will be quite motivational to those considering surgery and those like me; had it and need that light ahead to show us the way. Way to go toots-- Here's one for you! Dee
