1 week out and weird pain

Hi All, I am one week out and had my drain and staples removed yesterday (yea!) But now I am having this weird pain...hard to describe, but let me try...its internal, right around where my new pouch is and it feels like a searing hot nail is stabbing me at time, especially when trying to get up or down from a sitting position or bending over...no pain anywhere else...Did anyone out there have anything like this?

I had an intense pain as you describe and I would recommend you call your doctor. Mine was a royal pain but it did require medication and I actuall was injected at the sight with a type of novicane to quiet the pain down. Now who knows yours may be totally diffrent ,that is why I say call your doctor. Don't assume anything. You know your body and it is getting use to alot. It gets better everyday but make sure you are ok and do what your doctor advises. No question is too small. Jane

I was fortunate and didn't have this pain, but I've heard of others having it. I totally agree with Jane, you should give your doc a call and make sure it isn't serious. I hope it's not and please be sure to let us know you're ok. Take care-- Dee
