HOME FROM THE HOSPITOL

Well surgery was yesterday, and all went well...No Hernia, but did have two partial bowel obstructions caused from adhesions from previous abdominal surgeries, not related to my WLS....So very happy that this was not a complication from having the WLS...Dr Tom says I have so many adhesions, more than he had ever seen before, that if this happens again, and probably will...that he will not be able to fix it laproscopic, that it will have to be done OPEN, for safety reasons...Hopefully it will not happen again. I am feeling pretty good, just have a lot of Gas pain...and just a little soreness at the sites...so trying to do a lot of walking and praying for a lot of TOOTS...lol... Glad u r home and doing as well as u r. Lets hope it doesn't happen again. U take care of yourself and get some rest!

Oh Amy im so sorry,i didnt even no ya was sick,i understand i have had 2 surgeries and 10 blockages do to those adhesions. But you take care and walk to get the gas out and keep us updated ok. TOOT away lol....................... vickie

Well if your praying for a lot of toots then I will just call or YiM my well wishes to you. lol Glad to hear your somewhat better and home.To make you better you might be a case study for West-Smith and Little. So you will have new stories at the postop meeting. hope you don't get anymore Adhesion problems. I'm taking the dog out for our walk here soon, I will look for the mini-mushroom cloud to know where your at.
