I went to Saint Josepth East last Friday for my checkup plus I was also sick. they had to give Iron via IV it did make me feel better. But the good news I have lost 160 lbs. since my Pre-Op Diet. I still don'nt beleive it they had to show it to me on my chart. I am eating good and doing what they tell me to do but it does,nt seem real to me. I had to walk over the Pedway from the Doctors Office to the Main Hospital and did not have to stop once. I remember last year I had to stop 4 times and did'nt think I would make it. I was at the Emergency Room a few weeks ago with my brother and they gave him a wheel chair because he was sick and the asked me if I needed one and my told me if looks could kill the Nurse would be dead. I told her I did'nt need a wheel chair. All this does not seem real to me. Please tell me I'M not dreaming.

WoW Mark, 160 pounds is a phenomenal weight loss; congratulations!! I'm real happy for you and bravo on better movement too! I remember the times that I couldn't do simple tasks either. I still have some areas that I'm working on, but I surprise myself with the things that I can do, everyday. I'm real happy for you--keep up the good work!! St. Joes is the best, aint it? Good job, Dee

That is a great loss mark. Doing the happy dance for you. St Joe is a good place, I dont regret having rny at all just wish I had it sooner. I had my surgery in June I havent did as well as you but I am so much happier. I think 96 pounds is what I have lost and I can do so many more things than I could before surgery. My granddaughter is so happy with me, She has a new playmate lol.
