Hey Jen,
It's an exciting time for you and I'm sure you'll do fine getting those extra 5lbs. off. Just go one day at a time and start thinking about all the things you'd like to do when you have gotten to your goal weight.
Mike (my hubby) and I made a list of things we'd like to do once our extra weight was no longer an issue. We made this long list and every now and then, for reinforcement, I go and look at it. I'm finding that there are some things that I can check off already and it really helps with the motivation.
It seems like a few weeks will take forever, I know I felt that way too, but it's been 6-months for me now. I just can't believe it. It will be the same for you too.
