Have you heard from the drs office yet I can hardly wait hope we hear real soon.

Well, I got a letter in the mail today. They want me to take the letter to my PCP and make appointments for 1) Cardiac Clearance, 2) Pulmonary Clearance 3) Non-Invasive bilateral lower extremity venous Doppler Study 4) EGD or H-pylor (to rule out peptic ulcer disease) 5) TSH and a letter from my PCP to state that I have been free of tobacco, drugs and alcohol for a specific period of time (6 mos to 1year) and that I am medically cleared for surgery. They also want a letter from the cardiologist stating cardiac clearance. I already had the cardiac work up on October 2006, so that info I have to get a copy of the tests for them. They want all the info faxed to Kelly in their office. Does this mean the surgery is getting close????? Have you gotten a letter yet????

Sounds like the standard insurance letter. I had to get all of those and a few more. Start calling to get your appts made!
