Exercing again?

I'm the first to admit that when it comes to exercising I've fallen down on the job. I've recently got myself motivated to get back on the treadmill. I was wondering if I do my 30 min work out in the morning can I do it again late in the afternoon? I'm just mainly toning. I've been at my goal for over a year now. Can a person exercise too much? I love walking and since I'm a stay at home mom I thought I'd work out in the mornings and evenings both. Will I be doing myself any good that way?

1 hour of walking esp. spaced out wont be bad on u at all. I know my treadmill has one of those cool counters that tells u how many calories u burned depending on the speed ur walking/running and everything. Also tracks the pulse. Just dont over do it. If u start feelin too tired or wore down then stop and make sure if ur getting back into working out that u up ur water intake. I know I have been uping my activity and its about to kill me with all the pain in my lower back, legs and feet. Gosh I will be so glad when my "date" comes! Take care!

Have u heard from your insurance co yet? My treadmill was given to me when I sold my gazelle to a friend. She gave it to me cause it had a switch that didn't work but Adam fixed it. This morning I went to get on it and its making a loud knocking noise so I'll have to wait till he gets up to get him to look at it. When I get a new car I'm going to the gym. This sharing a vehicle since our accident makes it hard to go where I want when I want lol.

I have Medicare so I have heard that there is no pre approvals..? I have done everything that is needed so far though. Main thing I guess I am waiting on now is for Suburban to get its COE paperwork back because with Medicare u have to go to a COE hosp. They already had the walk through etc and passed with flying colors ofcourse its just the wait on paper which I was told should be in by next month. So I am hoping then I will hear of what I have to do next and get a date! I am planning on calling though to make sure that all the paperwork that they needed and I set by fax got to them and to see if I need anything else for now. I know all about not having a car! It is a pain! Did Adam get the treadmill fixed??

Good maybe it won't be too much longer now. Did he fix the treadmill? Oh my goodess. That man! He got up around 3pm since he worked last night. I told him Adam, the treadmill is making a knocking noise and I couldn't use it this morning cause I was afraid I'd wake u up. Ok, he goes in there, plugs it up, turns it all the way up, lets it run on high for a few mins and it stopped making that knocking noise. Its running great now. After letting it run for a few mins and it stop making that noise, he just looked at me and said, well, treadmills fixed. He's such a goober!

Well I am glad it is fixed. lol I called Dr Shina's office earlier and talked to Holly. She is so sweet. She checked my file for me to make sure I had all the paperwork that was needed. I have it all turned in so thats good. She said they expect the COE paperwork to be back to them within the next couple weeks or so. After that I should get a "date" and the rest of my appts for my filter, cardio, and pulm. Sooooo, hoping this will be soonnnnnnnn.

Hey Angela, Mike and I work out about 4-5 times a week. I usually do 30 minutes on the bicycle and about 40 minutes on the weight machines. If I decide to do a class, it will be my exercise for the day. I take a fusion ball class and sometimes do the water aerobics. You can do to much exercise, believe it or not, but your body will tell you when it's too much. If I were you, I'd start out with about 20 minutes on the tread mill at a pace that is steady. (not too fast and not too slow) I'd maybe start at no more than 3x's a week and then go up from there, to no more than 5x's a week. Be sure to stretch and add some breathing exercises in the process. I'm finding out that if you keep your core straight and oxygenated, it helps with the toning and burning. I hope that helps, Dee
