hemotologist

I understand the vc filter, the cardiologist visit but I don't understand the hemotologist. What is the purpose? Can anyone explain this? Char

I have never heard of going to the hemo. Do u have any blood disorders? I am sure they will want labs drawn if there arent any recent ones on record. The only one I see missing from the list that I was told I would also have to see is a pulm.
