After the weight loss did anybody have problems with the hanging chin or turkey neck, if so what did you do to prevent it or get it fixed?

I am getting one too...as my 10 yr old pointed out. She said I would be able to say gobble gobble soon. Children are sooo nice!

Yeahuuuuppp; me too! I'm getting one and it's rather annoying looking. I do these neck exercises and I think this helps some. I put my lower lip over my upper one and do neck stretches in every direction. I hold in each direction for at least 15 seconds and repeat 3x's at least 3x's a day. It's a good stretch and I'm thinking it's strengthening the muscles in my neck. (?) Good luck-- Dee

Hi Cynthia, I can totally relate to what everyone said concerning their/my turkey neck. I had my RNY 8-10-2005. I have lost 148 pounds which is more than I currently weigh. I have tried every exercise, every "wonder" cream, home remedy and nothing has worked for me to get rid of the excess neck skin. I am having a neck lift on 5-2-07. I am really looking forward to it because it is the one part of my body I can't cover up with clothes or a turtle neck (the excess skin just kind of sits on TOP of the turtle neck...lol). If anyone else has a better suggestion to get rid of the skin, I would LOVE to know about it....because nothing has worked for me........ Best of luck to you! Melannie
