I've been researching new vehicles for awhile now. First I was going to go with a mini van because since my father in law moved up here there is 5 of us to haul around. None of us are what u would call skinny. But I hate to get a mini van just because his dad lives near us and goes everywhere with us. I've thought about Jeep Libertys, Kia Sportage, Pontiac Grand Prixs and nothing is really catching my eye. I like the Grand Prix's looks and some people say they aren't bad on gas. With gas prices as they are, a car thats good on gas is what we need. We wrecked a dodge neon last Oct, we all 5 could fit into it but it was tight. Any suggestions? I like the Lincoln Town car's looks but if I get one of those it won't be brand new, those things are outrageous. But all the ones I've seen say their V8's and that doesn't sound like a car that would be great on gas. I know this is silly but I'm a woman and I can't make up my mind. Adam tells me whatever I want, it'll be my car. Well my car has to haul 5 people around and I want Adam to like it too. He mentioned the Sonatas but even though they look good, they just didn't reach out and catch me. Thanks for any tips! Just need something thats not bad on gas and will let 5 people ride comfortably. I know, I know a mini van is the obvious solution lol, I just can't talk myself into one. Theres nothing wrong with them, I just don't know what I want!!!

Hey Angela, I recently purchased a Honda Element. I love it. Im not excatly sure if 5 people could travel easy or not. My kids are 15 and 19 and most of the time I have my niece and nephew with me. They are 3 and 4 and in carseats. The great thing about this car is you can put the back seats up to the side and it makes like a truck. I have hauled 8 friends of my daughters around like that. There is awesome leg and head room. I am 5 10 so I love the head room. I know Honda is really great on gas. Hope this helps a little. I was going to ask you if you know of any hotels that are not real expensive around the Norton Pavillion. I have my psyc and nutri eval. next week. Thanks Cindy

Hi Cindy, I know there are several hotels by the hospital but not sure on pricing. Maybe u could go to priceline.com or something like that and see. Theres a motel 6 a few exits down the waterson closer to I 65. I think its $49.99, I believe thats what I've seen on the sign. I have to cancel my appt with Dr Shina again next Wed. He's not going to be happy. Good luck next week! I've seen the elements. My father in law and stepson are both big and I'm afraid it wouldn't be comfy. I hadn't considered the Chrysler Concorde until last night I ran across some. They look big and comfy. We'll see if they hold my attention until I'm ready to purchase lol. Let me know how it goes. I'm about 20 miles below Suburban. Are u coming thru Etown? I know there are several nice hotels off the exit I live off, 94. Hugs Ange

I love the way they look but someone said it might be higher on car insurance, not sure why? Its not exactly a sports car is it?

Well, it's not a 'car', but I LOVE my caravan. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! My hubby says it's like driving a living room (it is very niiiiiiice! ) Automatic doors (sides & back) and it has a sunroof just because I wanted one! LOL! Plus the back and middle seats can fold into the floor if needed, and if you don't need them to fold in, then you have the storage under there. My hubby got a Hundai (spelling?) and that thing is a piece of crap. I hate that car. It is brand new. Feels like it is made out of aluminum foil. Maybe you could just drive a few around ? Have fun test driving!!! MElanie g.
