Fort Campbell/TriCare Info
Hello all, I am moving to Fort Campbell in the June time frame and have a few questions for anyone who can help...
Is the plastics referred off post or left on post, and if on post, how long is the wait? This will be my 3rd time & 3rd installation waiting for the plastics (gotta love the army)... If referred off post, who does everyone usually go to? I have so much to do just with the move alone but I figured as soon as we get inprocessed I'm getting on a list.... somewhere....
Thanks in advance...
I can't really help but just wanted to say hi and welcome to Ky. My husband is from that area down there and has sisters in Hopkinsville. Our brother in law is in the Army and is stationed at Fort Campbell. Sorry I wasn't any help. Just wanted to say hi. My insurance did pay for a panniculectomy but it was just my health insurance. I have no idea how the army stuff works.

Depends really on their staffing situation. Ft Campbell has alot of their staff overseas now so more is being sent off base. Wright Patterson AFB keeps it on base.
You might try calling one of the WLS in the area to see who they refer to. They would be able to tell you about accepting TriCare.
Hi there we also are moving to ky in the end of June my hubby retires from USAF but our closes bace is Fort camble yea we might see each other but any hoo I was told I had to wait a year so I am going the end of the month to see my PCM to see what she says about a tummy tuck .welcome to Ky & good luck Tricare is a good thing they will cover it I was told

Hi Im pam and I am from the ft campbell area ,I am going through the process for GBS and they are referring off post right now my doc on post said if any plastics need done after they will be off post also But I dont know where The docs in Clarksville is usually where they send and you can call your tricare north region and they can tell you who is on ther lst and you can look them up on line (thats how I got my bariatrc surgeon ) Good luck .And things seem to move pretty fast so be prepared
